Full legal name and postal address of the business. For a sole trader (Einzelunternehmen) this is the operator's own name and a deliverable address — a PO box is not sufficient. This must match the details given to Stripe during account activation.

A second means of direct contact — a telephone number is the usual choice. §5 DDG asks for details enabling rapid electronic contact and direct communication; whether the email address alone satisfies that is a question for a lawyer, and the answer decides whether a number goes here.

Either the VAT identification number (USt-IdNr. under §27a UStG), or — if operating under the small business rule — a note that no VAT is shown pursuant to §19 UStG. Which of the two applies is the open tax decision, and it also decides whether Stripe Tax is switched on.

Name and address of the person responsible for editorial content, where that differs from the operator above.

A statement on participation in consumer arbitration (Verbraucherschlichtung under §36 VSBG). Most small traders declare that they are neither obliged nor willing to participate — but the declaration itself is required, so silence is not an option.
