These Terms apply to orders through serialrisk.com. A consumer acts mainly for private purposes; a business customer acts in the course of a trade, business, or profession.

This is a serial risk screening, not an authentication or appraisal. It reflects known counterfeit records and pattern signals in our data - it is not a legal or expert determination of this watch's authenticity. For a binding opinion, consult the brand or an independent watchmaker.

We automatically compare the selected serial against records from listings classified as counterfeit and patterns derived from them. We owe the screening using the data and rules available when it runs, not a particular outcome.

A record or pattern is not proof that a watch is counterfeit; a genuine watch can also receive a warning. No signal does not prove authenticity. SerialRisk does not inspect the watch, title, provenance, condition, or value. Do not base an important decision solely on the report.

A single check costs €1.99. The contract is formed when Stripe confirms payment. Stripe processes the payment. VAT is not shown under the German small-business scheme (§19 UStG).

At your express request, we begin the check immediately. The withdrawal information explains when this causes the right of withdrawal to expire.

The result is provided online and emailed together with the contract confirmation and withdrawal information. Treat the secret result link as an access key.

If a paid check is not provided, we will complete it or refund the price. Confirmed duplicate charges are refunded. A fully delivered no-signal result, or a result differing from your own assessment, is not a delivery failure. Statutory rights remain unaffected.

The price shown at checkout is charged monthly in advance. Included checks apply to that billing period and then expire; separately purchased top-ups remain. The plan continues indefinitely. You may cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period. SerialRisk may terminate the plan by giving one month's notice, effective at the end of a billing period. Both parties' right to terminate for cause remains unaffected. Price, allowance, and renewal date are shown before ordering and in the plan area.

Requesting an immediate start does not remove the right of withdrawal. A timely withdrawal ends the plan immediately. For each included check already used, we retain the per-check price shown before ordering as proportionate compensation and refund the remaining part of the first plan payment.

Top-up checks are separately paid check services at the displayed unit price. On a timely withdrawal, we refund unused top-up checks and retain the unit price for each check already used as proportionate compensation. Once all checks from a top-up purchase have been used, the right of withdrawal for that purchase expires where the statutory conditions are met.

You may use your report privately or professionally and share it with advisers or transaction parties. You may not make abusive automated requests, resell the service without agreement, bypass access controls, or present a result as an authentication certificate or binding SerialRisk statement about a particular watch.

Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraud, express guarantees, and mandatory product liability. For slight negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable typical loss. Other liability for slight negligence is excluded where lawful.

German law applies without removing mandatory consumer protection in your country of habitual residence. Mandatory jurisdiction rules remain unaffected. English is the contract language and controlling version for the English checkout; the German version is provided for additional information.
